Import Your Notes from Capture

The little utility Capture from Sir Studio lets you quick make notes when thoughts cross your mind. Quickly write them down and organize them later. Now the developer has also added an export option for DEVONthink.

In the settings of Capture, you can choose DEVONthink as an app and set up tags and a default destination, if desired. To do so, select the desired group in DEVONthink, then choose Edit > Copy Item Link from the menu. In DEVONthink To Go, long tap on a group and select Copy > Copy Item Link. Paste the reference into Capture, then remove the front part of the reference x-devonthink-item:// so that only the destination’s identifier remains. Now select a note, click the Share icon and then choose DEVONthink. The note will be imported as plain text.
