DEVONthink To Go 2.5.1 Enhances Security and Reliability

For the DEVONthink To Go 2.5.1 maintenance release we’ve thrown enhancements to the clipping workflow and to its new app security into the package. Clip to DEVONthink adds text retrieved for web pages to the comments of bookmarks and recognizes URLs provided as simple text. The security lock screen now covers also full-screen videos and popovers.

That being not enough, no maintenance release comes without reliability and performance improvements. The update makes synchronizing via sync stores more reliable and checks the available disk space before importing databases from remote locations. Background tasks are handled more gracefully, and providing indexed text to Spotlight has less impact on performance and battery life. The update also fixes a number of bugs and glitches.
