DEVONthink To Go 2.7.2
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho - DEVONtechnologies releases version 2.7.2 of its iOS document and information manager DEVONthink To Go with sync and performance enhancements and bug fixes. The update brings back the sync status sheet, updates the PDF support, and makes handling of indexed items consistent to DEVONthink 3 on the Mac. It also comes with important bug fixes and first adjustments for iOS 13. The update is free and recommended for all users.

New in DEVONthink To Go 2.7.2:
This release brings the app’s sync mechanism on par with its Mac counterpart, DEVONthink 3. The update also makes DEVONthink To Go’s handling of indexed items consistent to the Mac and brings back the sync status sheet which allows users to more closely follow longer sync runs. Other enhancements include improved reliability when synchronizing via Bonjour or to WebDAV sync stores, better handling of indexed and pending items, and higher performance.
For PDFs, DEVONthink To Go 2.7.2 now allows to change the stacking order of annotations to bring, e.g., annotations on top of others. Highlight annotations added with DEVONthink on the Mac are now shown too. Bookends users can link to items stored in their favorite references manager using the Bookends URL scheme.
The new version also improves the general performance and reliability, especially of list and grid views. Version 2.7.2 generates previews in the background, which also fixes memory issues in the Files app integration, and better handles large sheets. In the settings, DEVONthink To Go shows more options directly without having the user navigate to additional screens.
Finally, the update remedies numerous other issues, too, e.g., related to viewing PDFs, editing documents externally, and searching.
The update is free for existing users and highly recommended.
