Today we have released compatibility updates for DEVONnote, DEVONthink, EasyFind, and PhotoStickies that mainly fix compatibility issues on OS X 10.7 Lion. If you’re on Lion we highly recommend to install them.
Today we have submitted DEVONthink To Go 1.0.2 to Apple for App Store review. The new version comes with tons of bug fixes for the synchronization as we as for the overall stability. As promised we are ironing out the most pressing problems with every 1.0.x release now while preparing a larger 1.1 release with completely revisited inner mechanics and new features in early 2011. The update will show up automatically on your device as soon as it has been approved by Apple.
If you are, like us, excited about the upcoming release of OS X 10.7 Lion then you will also like this news: We have just released version 2.2 of DEVONthink and DEVONnote which makes them fully compatible to Lion. Install this update and you don’t need fear the beast.
Just a quick note that we have today released version 2.0.6 of all editions of DEVONthink and of DEVONnote. The update fixes bugs, e.g. the ‘Sync group missing’ bug that affected only some Macs but not all of them. It also brings better integration with Spotlight and improves the overall performance. Today we have released the last public beta of DEVONagent 3.0 to the wild. We have added our new support assistant with one-click installs for plugins and scripts, a stand-alone menu extra similar to DEVONagent Express, and dozens of more new improvements and bug fixes. We also have updated DEVONthink and DEVONnote to version 2.1.1 with bug fixes e.g. for the Sorter. Definitely a recommended update for all of you using DEVONthink or DEVONnote!
We have just submitted the first update of DEVONthink To Go to version 1.0.1 to Apple for App Store review. The updated fixes a number of crashes and glitches including the crashes when navigating back from the Search screen as well as the non-functioning Cancel button on the Sync screen. As promised two days ago: We have more news this week. Today is the end of the DEVONacademy as we knew it. We have updated all tutorials, collected new scripts, templates, and plugins, moved all tips from my blog to a database, and integrated everything into an easy-to-use assistant that is now part of DEVONthink and DEVONnote, and soon also of DEVONagent. Just a quick note that we have today submitted DEVONagent Express 3.0.1 to Apple with a number of bug fixes. Included are fixes for glitches in the user interface as well as for a bug that lets the app consume way to much CPU time when being used for a longer time.
Our freeware offerings have always been our way to say ‘thank you!’ to the greatest user community of all: you, the Mac users. And so we will continue to maintain and further improve EasyFind & Co. and offer them for free to all Mac users. Like today. (mehr)
Today we have updated EasyFind to version 4.7.2 and XMenu to 1.9.3. We have added minor new functions, e.g. the possibility to drag search results with modifier keys pressed to the Finder to move, copy, or alias them. EasyFind also copes better with encodings and shows its name in Services menu entries. XMenu can be added to the startup items from its preferences, now, too.
