Summer Updates
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — DEVONtechnologies updates its professional web research assistant DEVONagent, the smart desktop search DEVONsphere Express, and DEVONthink To Go, the iOS and iPadOS counterpart to its Mac-based document and information management solution DEVONthink. All applications receive improvements to their functionality, performance, and reliability.
DEVONagent is DEVONtechnologies’ solution for searching thoroughly on the web. It queries multiple search engines at once and scans web pages for possible matches. It then post-processes the results and presents only the relevant ones. Good results can be automatically added to an archive or to DEVONthink, or fed to other workflows using AppleScript and other means of automation. DEVONagent is available in three editions for different workflows, needs, and budgets: Pro, Express, and Lite (free).
DEVONsphere is a menubar utility for searching the Mac and finding data related to the frontmost document. It discovers the hidden connections between seemingly unrelated items, always focused on what the users are doing on their Macs.
DEVONthink To Go is DEVONtechnologies’ mobile document and information manager. It stores files of any kind in searchable databases on the device where users can organize them to their needs. Many aspects of document workflows can be automated with Shortcuts. Its fast, reliable, and secure synchronization keeps document collections available on other iOS devices as well as Macs running DEVONthink for Mac.
New in DEVONagent 3.11.5
DEVONagent 3.11.5 focuses on plugins and search sets. It comes with a large number of revised plugins to restore or improve their capabilities. Some plugins and search sets received new names for clarity. The user interface is more polished and the update fixes a few display glitches, too. The improved performance and stability helps DEVONagent Pro do its heavy lifting in searching faster and more reliably.
Collecting and organizing materials with DEVONthink is what most of our users do. But how do they find the new info, exciting studies, and thoroughly investigated stories that they add to their databases? The answer is: DEVONagent Pro. With this maintenance release we updated many of the plugins so that they work better, or work again, with sources on the internet. Of course, that’s not all what we have in mind for DEVONagent’s future.

New in DEVONsphere Express 1.9.6
DEVONsphere Express 1.9.6 adds support for searching the Apple Music application. It also now finds files created by the popular Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer applications by name. And finally, the update improves the results from web searching further and fixes issues.
New in DEVONthink To Go 3.1.3
And last but not least, DEVONthink To Go 3.1.3 brings a slightly darker background for PDFs and images to make the actual documents stand out better. In addition, the new version has received a number of important stability and reliability improvements. It schedules background tasks better and fixes issues with some tasks not having been run at all in the last release.
All updates are free for existing users and highly recommended.

All editions of DEVONagent Pro as well as DEVONsphere Express can be downloaded for free from the DEVONtechnologies website. After the trial period all except DEVONagent Lite require a license.

DEVONthink To Go can be downloaded for free from the iOS App Store. After a trial period of one month it requires subscribing or buying a one-time purchase. The following options are available:

- One-time purchase: US $39.99
The one-time purchase unlocks all future 3.x versions of DEVONthink To Go. Customers having DEVONthink To Go 2.7.8 or later installed on their device can buy the one-time purchase for only US $19.99.
