How do I activate or deactivate a seat?

Activating a seat means to enter the license code into your copy of the application and register the device with our backend system. To activate a seat:

1. Log into your customer account.
2. Click the appropriate product in the Your Licenses section to display your licensing information.
3. Press the Activate button at the top of the page. Note: In Safari, you may have to allow opening our application.

To deactivate a seat:

1. Log into your customer account.
2. Click the appropriate product in the Your Licenses section to display your licensing information.
3. In the Devices section, press the Edit button.
4. Press the encircled minus ⊖ button next to the device from which you want to remove the seat.

This removes the device from your license so you can use the license for registering the software on another computer.
