Even though Google Chrome probably shares more information with its maker than you like, it also does a lot to protect you from the (other) bad guys — and sometimes also the good ones. We have already updated DEVONthink popup: true and DEVONagent popup: true with the necessary adjustments for OS X Yosemite. Today we’ve released DEVONsphere Express 1.8 popup: true as well as new versions of PhotoStickies popup: true and XMenu popup: true. DEVONsphere 1.8 adds support for Finder and Open Meta tags, Scapple files, and diagnostic reports. It also uses Open Graph properties of HTML pages and web pages to provide more accurate results. On OS X Mavericks and later version 1.8 indexes email messages again. The update also reduces DEVONsphere Express’ CPU usage and improves its performance and reliability. (mehr)
OS X Yosemite is peeking around the corner. Today we’ve released updates for DEVONagent Pro through Lite popup: true that get them ready for Apple’s newest iteration of its Mac operating system. In addition version 3.8.2 searches Baidu popup: true, the #1 search engine in China, and the Pro edition lets you easily share web content. Scanners in version 3.8.2 are more accurate and the new version better filters links to social media, e.g. retweets. (mehr)
Yesterday DEVONthink began to no longer launch for some people. The issue is related to an expired Apple provisioning profile and already hit many other applications earlier this year. Apple now provides profiles with a longer life period. This doesn’t do away with the problem forever but at least delays its next occurrence. (mehr)
